Can everyone use the By Acne device? Most healthy adults can use Bye Acne Light Therapy device.
However, there are some contraindications: the device is not recommended for those who are under the age of 18, are subject to seizures or photosensitivity, have active cancer, or have a known allergy to plastics. Do not use the device if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. It has not been tested on pregnant or breast-feeding women, and therefore the risk to the fetus, neonate, or pregnant women is unknown. Do not use if you have Fitzpatrick Skin Type V or VI.
